Secret of karma - Creation of Positive Weighty Karma.

WEIGHTY (GARUKA) KARMA

Serious and influential Karma which are cumbersome come into this category. They may be good or bad deeds.The results are produced in this birth or in the next birth definitely.The good Weighty Karmas give intellectual powers such as Jhana (a state of deep mental unification) or, great physical merits.There are five immediately effective heinous crimes (pancanantariya karma) which come into this category:

1) Killing one’s mother (Matricide)
2) killing one’s father (Patricide)
3) killing an Arahant
4) The wounding of a Buddha
5) Creating schism in the Sangha

Therefore if we reverse the order we get the good weighty karma which will bring fruit in this or next life.

1) Prevent harm and taking care of ones parents
2) Prevent harm and taking care of an Arahant
3) Prevent harm and taking care of Buddha
4) Bring together the Sangha

Arahant and Buddha are beings with great merit therefore harming such enlightment beings will result in weighty karma.
